It won’t be long until the newly launched and highly anticipated Apple iPhone 14 series arrives in Malaysia. With that, it is only natural for local resellers to knock down prices of the past models to make way for the batch of next generation devices, which is good news for consumers who don’t mind picking up the brand’s flagships from the previous year at reduced cost.

Machines and Switch, two authorised Apple resellers in Malaysia, have already updated the listings for the iPhone 13 series on their respective websites with the new prices. So far, the offerings from the two are lowest yet, with other stores such as Harvey Norman Malaysia, Mac City, and Apple’s own regional online store still listing the past generation devices at slightly higher prices. And just heads up before we proceed forward, keep in mind that there’s a big chance that some models and configurations may already be sold out by the time this article goes live.

Based on the listings on Machines and Switch’s online stores, the iPhone 13 mini is priced at RM 2,939 for the 128 GB configuration, RM 3,449 for the 256 GB, and RM 4,349 for the 512 GB. For the same configurations, the standard model is currently going for RM 3,449, RM 3,949, and RM 4,849 respectively.

Next up, the stores now list the iPhone 13 Pro at RM 4,449 for the 128 GB variant, RM 4,949 for the 256 GB, RM 5,849 for the 512 GB, and RM 6,749 for 1TB version. In the same order of configurations as its smaller sibling, the top-of-the-shelf Pro Max model is now available for RM 4,849, RM 5,349, RM 6,249, and RM 7,149 respectively.

Of course, if you happen to find that the knocked down prices for the iPhone 13 series is still steep for your liking, then you’ll be glad to know that the pricing of the two-generation old iPhone 12 have also been reduced even further. However, take note that currently most stores in Malaysia only carry the standard model for that particular series. On that note, both Machines and Switch are offering the iPhone 12 model at RM 3,049 for the 64 GB configuration, RM 3,249 for the 128 GB, and RM 3,749 for the 256 GB trim.

And just in case that you’re wondering, the third generation iPhone SE is also seeing price reductions for all of its configurations. To be more specific, this particular model is currently being offered at RM 1,999 for the 64GB, RM 2,199 for the 128 GB and lastly, RM 2,699 for the 256 GB version.

Past generations aside, the all-new iPhone 14 series is slated to arrive in Malaysia this Friday on 23 September 2022. To recap, the pricing for the standard, Plus, Pro and Pro Max models start from RM 4,199, RM 4,699, RM 5,299 and RM 5,799 respectively.
