Delivery and logistics company Lalamove is expanding its coverage beyond the Klang Valley to Johor and Penang, eying the high concentration of SMEs in the two states.

Available since 2018 in the Klang Valley and aptly described as “Grab for packages”, Lalamove offers delivery from as low as RM5 with features such as multi-stop delivery, real-time GPS delivery tracking, and 24/7 delivery services.

“Nowadays, we can roughly fulfil 500,000 delivery orders within Klang Valley per month. We are confident that we can duplicate this result for consumers and businesses in these two states,” said Lalamove Malaysia Managing Director Jane Teh, referring to Johor and Penang.

Currently, the delivery service claims to serve approximately 100,000 SMEs and daily consumers in Klang Valley. Apart from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang are important SME centres in their own right, making the company’s coverage expansion there only natural.

Lalamove will commence its services in the two states by offering car and motorcycle deliveries. Van, truck, and lorry deliveries will be available near the end of the second quarter, enabling same-day interstate delivery for SMEs.

The company has established driver centres in Bayan Lepas, Penang, and Permas Jaya, Johor, as the base of its operations. For more information on Lalamove, you can visit its official website.
