cut a few laps so far, went up to a race up north and made it a practice. and then took it to another track and attempted to make love with the wall, haha. just a love tap.
i was trying some off the wall stuff.

very nice job, looks great

..... those outer tie-rod (heims) mounted so far away from the steering arm might have me a little worried ..... Any way to raise the draglink in order to correct your bump instead?

we have snipped them down, this was before we set up the car.
the main reason we run some spacer between hiem and the spindle, is because when the car rolls over it bottoms out if i get the space between the hiem, and spindle to short, and well that upsets the car a bunch.

If I understand correctly, you are running the spacers to give you enough clearance for the tie-rod assy to pass under the frame in bump?

don't they allow you to knotch the frame?

if the extended mounts fix the interference AND correct your bump steer, I can see why raising the drag link would seem like the anti-solution (more interference).

I'd just be worried about that long lever arm you've created twisting the steering arm.

Ahhh...the color of money! I actually remember seeing the car when I was surfing the site about a month ago. You've really changed 'er up from last year, I didn't even realize it was yours. Good lookin' ride man. Watch them craters at CMS.

Talk to me at the track sometime. I dabble in computer graphics, and designed last year's as well as this year's design. All I need is a good digital photo (I can take one myself at the track) and maybe an idea of what direction you want to go in. Any body intrested PM me. Pretty cheap.
