i have saginaw 3 speed chevy 350 planning on running tilton 2 disc cluth with hyro throwout bearing i was wondering what bellhousing i should run and also do i run internal or external balanced flex plate thanks for the replys this is an awesome web site jwracing

Run the 153 tooth flywheel for an internally balanced engine, (unless you have a 400 crank and external balance job) The bell housing is aluminum or steel (your preference) from pretty much any standard standard transmission Chevy produced in the last 30 years, or preferably an aftermarket type for strenghth. Make sure to extend the bleeder on the hydraulic throwout bearing to where you can easily get to it. A grease gun hose works well for this and only cost a few bucks.

thanks for the info racnfool i was wondering how u bleed the bearing inside the bellhousing i got the motor and trans set down in there tonite now i need to find a rear end and birdcages so i can redo the bar mounts on the rear once again thanks jwracing
