What do you guys recommend for a TOP quality fire suit and where is the best place to get one? I like the MOMO top racer 2, but you dont see many around the dirt tracks. What do you guys think? I am looking at about the $700 to $800 price range.

I'm not familiar with Momo firesuits, but you should take a look at the TPP ratings and how well the suit breathes.

I have a Simpson MTO45. It has 3 layers, and a TPP rating of 45. It breathes very well and is comfortable to wear. It is filament nomex so it stretches. My suit cost me $850 a few years ago and was custom tailored.

My next firesuit will be from Impact Racing/Bill Simpson.

i have always worn hinchman suits (www.hinchmanindy.com/) i just ordered a new one a couple weeks ago. they are about 5 to 6 weeks from order to your door. the new carbon-x suit is i think the best on the market. i order a two layer suit, outer layer nomex and second layer carbon-x (lots of extras though) for $1,100. all their suits are custom fit and come in many styles or design your own (i did). they definitely have suits in your price range also. just don't scimp on safety, you might not get a second chance.

what do you see most racers in flammable situations wearing? SPARCO - bought one a year ago and love it. Spend anywhere from 500 to 1500.

Decided to go with the sparco top5. Its a lil more than I wanted to spend, but whats an extra 200 bucks when it comes to safety?
