49's are for building the compression on flattops i don'tknow alot about them but from what i read you get a better burn off a flat top easier on the pistons

You should go with the 230cc intake runner heads. As I've stated many times on this board, alky engines like big intake runner's. You can run a very small dome with the 49cc heads. I certainly would not stick any more dome in the chamber than is needed to get the compression ratio that you want. I'd use angle plug heads. You need to check piston to valve clearance no matter what combo you go with!
