Look into the coolant temp sensor. If it doesn't read right the sensor will tell the computer the motor is cold and run rich. Good luck.

the coolatnt sensor is a good place to start but if you have a scaner then you will need to pull the codes and post them then I will be able to help more good luck

check for a vacuum leak in the map sensor line or a bad map sensor this was very common on those, vac line would dry rot no vac to the map tells ecm you are under a large load and acts just like a power valve dumping extra fuel, definatly need to scan it.
