you can charge the engine with a drill. you can buy an oil charging rod or use an old dist. and gut it so the shaft sticks up and attach the drill to that. shhould lube everything for you

It can sit all winter like it is. There is lube on the brgs, and the cyl walls should have a light coat of ATF or something on them.
Just seal all the openings that you dont have covered with part really well with plastic and tape.
Priming it before your starting it is a waste of time.

On my Dist. primer I just took the gear to a grinder and ground off the teeth. I also just welded a bolt to the top to hook a drill up to.

Ok, took the gear off the old dist and welded a nut to the top today and pumped oil through the engine. Worked very well! THANKS
