Has any one tried using a q-jet on alky ?
If so how did it work, and who modifies them? Would like pros & cons on using a q-jet.
Thanks, Mike

To be honest, nobody has ever asked us to build one, but I know that we could do it and make it live, and not lean out the motor. That part is the easy part.
The hard part would be WHY anyone would want to do that when there's many Holley vacuum secondary alky carbs available that'd do just as good a job, and are easier to tune.

No, it is not a rule thing. I am not a big holley fan and I like trying different ideas. My philosophy is if you follow, you will never lead. My thinking with the small primaries would help in traction coming out of the corner and the large secondaries for the straights.
Thanks, Mike
