I was reading another post and was wondering about main bearing spacers.Whats the general opinion on these spacers. Is it worth the cost and time to use them?

If you are talking about puting a 350 crank in a 400 block......you need spacers of some type.....they make a bearing that fits right, without the spacer. These bearings are expensive compared to a standard bearing.
Personally I wouldn't use the spacers again, I would use the thick bearing made for the job. With spacer bearings the main caps seem to walk around on the block, after a while you will end up with broken caps unless you go to a after market cap.
