I know its kinda a loaded question,but...
Has anyone used PTM and or Midwest Motorsports for thier engines.

How was the service?
Was the engines you purchased worth your money?

The usual stuff,Like I said,I know its a loaded question, kinda like 'Wich is the better chassis',just was wondering about the service and what not.

Thanks in advance

basicly ptm was midwest a few years back they all worked there and then started there own shop the rest of the guys from midwest just started therer own a while back called hardcore race engines i'm not real sure who is the main guy at midwest now but i'd go with ptm myself i'm kinda partial tho because the m is a guy i used to go to school with and played baseball together with and the t is a close family friend. i still buy parts at midwest because i work about 2 miles away but don't think i would have any work done there any more after this year

I do run a PTM motor and am greatly satisfied with the quality of the work. The engine performs very well, and the service is superb. I was having some minor problems that were not from them but from the heads I bought elsewhere and I spent 1/2 hour on the phone with Steve and he told me what to do to correct the problem and have not had the problem since. My wife picked the motor up and Doug and the rest treated her with the utmost respect also. We are planning on getting another motor or 2 this off season from them.

Hardcore Race Engines is a good place to go also. They worked at midwest also, and Pat will beat or match anyones price!! They are right up the street from midwest and have close ties with Wayne Larson Racing also. Hardcores number is 515-233-3530.
