I bought a Rons Racing Fuel Pump the 2nd week of July....with all the rain, totalled race car, etc. I have only ran the thing 5 races. Last night in my new car....I came from 18th and making a pass for 6th when loss of power occured. Looked down had 0 psi fuel pressure. Car was still running but when I hit throttle it would fall over itself. Does this sound like the pump or what? I havent had a chance to check it out today....but I did pull my filter out. It had a little bit of silicone like material in it. What could this be?

You may look at your regulator also, it could have some trash in it causing it to mess up

Blew out all the lines, put new filter in and fired right up, held good fuel pressure. After looking at filter it had several chunks of silicone in it for some reason. I checked all of fuel cell and it seems clean. I hope this fixed it!!!

Are you running foam in your fuel cell? I'm cleaning up my fuel system and it had that silicone material in it.
You might want to check the accelerator pump on the carb. Some of that garbage got inside of mine and somehow locked it up. You couldn't move the lever with your hand let alone the foot pedal.
