Would it help in keeping siamese cylinders cool by running water lines from the center of the water pump to the drain plugs on each side of the engine block? Anyone ever try this out?

Ive done it. I ran a T of my water heater outlet on top of the pump and 2 -6 lines to the drains..

Then I went even further and ran a -10 from the water heater outlet to a heat exchanger(water to oil cooler) inlet, then ran the outlet water back to the block in thru the drains...

The first set up didnt seem to make a diff, but then again I didnt have a problem to fix.

BUT the heat exchanger was insanely awesome, it took my oil temp which was allways pegging of the meter, and didnt let it get above 240 even while cooking the main brgs, due to losing the pick up!!!!
I only used it that one race then sold that car with it all in right of the track.
