ok I have a chance to buy 2 350 blocks a set of 882 heads 2 sets of rods and piston one set is supposed to be pink rods for $120 is this a goood price? My next question is can i build an engine from this stuff if it turns out to be good or should i buy new pistons?I am on avery tight budget, and one of these blocks is bored 40 over we have a 362 cubic inch limit. What would that make this?

the blocks alone are worth more than that. if they are not cracked.

jump on it cube wise your fine 360 is 60 over 350.;if the motor is bored already then it should have good enough pistons in it as long as you keep the compression down and don't turn the heck out of it your be fine with just cast or hypertetrics you could have yourself two pretty good motors for under 500. just get yourself some re ring kits new cam and oil pumps and timing chain and then some better valve springs

as the rule of thumb. For every 30 over you go it adds 5 CI so 30 over 355
60 over 360
so for your 40 over that would be like 358
