What do you guys use to seal the rocker studs that go into the runners?

I use (Very Sparingly) Permatex Red high Temp RTV. Get too much on there and you get a red RTV stalagtite hanging down into the runner. I choose the red for it's high temp capability and resistance to the fuel. I know it lasts cause i found a red stalagtite in one of my heads after two seasons running, it was still attached to the threads. You can readily find this at your local auto parts store.

Thread sealant just like head bolts - apply sparingly too... or I've used permatex in the past on different applications.

If they didnt go into the intake runner i would just use sealer...but these have open holes right into the runners on the head..i mean withthe intake off you look down and see the stud hanging down!! I think that i might not have em sealed enough...

our heads have the same thing, and we use factory gm sealer, the same as we use on the head studs.

I used hi-temp RTV silicone on mine and it has worked just fine.
