just a thought but when you hit the wall could you have pinched the fuel line? This might explain the lack of fuel.

Check the pick up coil, and the control mod. Sounds to me like you muffed up the accelerator pump when you rebuilt it. Did you lose the check ball, or use the wrong one? Did you damage the rubber piston during re-assembly?

since this prob. started after you smacked the wall I would check the battery its possible you knocked some plates loose or cracked the connections in the battery.

Check your float, smacked the wall one time ,car acted similar to what you're describing,Practically pulled my hair out looking for the problem.Had an oldtimer tell me check your float, and sure enough, bent it just enough that it was binding and would just barely drop.Fixed the float, fixed the problem! Best to ya

I checked the acc pump and float today. The acc pump piston was damaged replaced it with a good one and works great. I had a new float lying around and decided just to go ahead and install it. The one I had in there is pretty old. I will try it this way for hot laps and if it still acts up I have a new module I can install quick before the heat races. Hope it works. Thanks.
