I would like to try another nearby track. They have a rule that the engine must pull 15 inchs of vaccum at 700 rpm. My home track has a .420 lift rule. I am running a 350 chevy bored .030 with a .410 lift cam and a rotchester two barrel. Will I be able to pass vaccum? I hate to pull the 80 miles to find out I'm not legal and can't run.

with a 410 you should be fine thats just a touch over stock but get a gauge and check it yourself it's handy to have to tune your carb with anyway

I checked it and it is 12-14inchs at 1000rpm. That was at the base of the carb. But I also had my restrictor plate in would the restrictor plate also restrict vaccum?
Thanks

Just curious but if you have to pull 15 at 700 rpm why are you giving readings at 1000 RPM? If you have the carb off the idle circuit you will read very low. Get it to 700 RPM then check and adjust it, they are gonna check it there anyway. Good luck.

may sound stupid but what do you mean by carb idle circuit?
