i have oil all over the right side of the motor and car at first i was thinking fuel pump so i changed pumps and bolth gaskets and the push rod bolt on the block is there and tighti put a new seal in the timing chain cover and checked it beore i put it in fit tight on balancer was thinking about putting a ready sleave on the balance till i found out they want 25 bucks for it. has anybody ever seen oil come from inside the balancer like there is a little room on the crank that it's getting thru? it did it last year twords the end of the season and now this is a different motor just same balancer. there is oil on the bottom hose and dripping off the fuel pump and all over the right side of the car

don't want to spend the money if thats not the problem and the fact that that sucker better be made out for gold for 25 bucks lol i bought one 3 years ago for $3 inflation stinks there doesn't seam to be any wear on the outside of the balancer also it only does it at high rpms just sitting in the shop it doesn't leak a bit

I have tore motors down that had some silicone on the crank keyway. Maybe you can try that.

Just try overfilling the engine oil a couple gallon or so without engine running and watch for the leak. If its the balancer or the keyway you'll see it. Create your own crank splash. LOL

Also make sure the crank case has adequate ventilation.

Look closely at your valve cover gasket and your intake gasket at the corner where your head and block meet. It can run down the crevice right there where the head and block meet. It could be hard to see if you run an alternator. Just an idea on a place to check.

not at our napa went to every parts store in town even with my bro's discount at oreily's was 18 bucks. i figure it's gotta be the balancer since it did it last year and thats the only thing besides the carb thats the same on this motor
