Get you a vaccuum guage and a o2 sensor off a gm something. Mount the 02 sensor in the header and take the wire coming from the 02 sensor and run it to a digital voltmeter you can place inside the car. Run the car and notice the vaccuum reading at the point in which you hear the gurgle you should notice the 02 sensor going rich above .7{these readings are optimal).4-.7 volts. This will verify rich or lean and which circuit you need to adjust. I would suggest that the powervalve is not the right size or the two pv orifices are too big, squirter size too small, or pump cam not tall enough. Does it come of idle *(holeshot) ok? Alky usually bogs not spit and sputter when its rich!!

I'd definitely be looking at fuel pullover (fuel getting into the carb throat from slosh or bowl control) Possibly fuel pressure problem created from inertia of cornering. Check cell pickup. Just because she sounds good in the shop doesn't mean a thing under load..
