HAS ANYONE TRIE TO PUT 202 AND 16 VALVES IN THESE HEADS I HAVE SET THE VALVES IN THE HEAD AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL WORK I HAVE PORTED A LOT OF HEADS JUST LOOKING FOR NEW IDEAS FOR OUTHEER OPTIONS THIS WAS A QUESTION BROUGHT UP A FRIEND THAT WANTS TO TRY IT IF ANY ONE HAS TRIED THS LET ME KNOW

1.94" and 1.6" are the largest you can go. When I put those in my heads the cutter actually took a little off the chamber on the way down. A 2.02" would probably make the side of the chamber pretty thin. Plus, it would be shrouded so bad the 1.94" would more than likely outflow it.

yur on the right track here! 1.94's are the way to go with 601's, I have done the 2.02 thing, and by the time you get the chambers opened up for them to flow worth a **** you have ruined the head.... they get REAL thin down in the bowl area as well....dont put 2.02 valves in these heads!!! 1.94 valves work great in 601's for a claimer,I have built quite a few winning motors with these heads on em....

tis is what i want to know the customer wanted me to do this regardless I don't want to trash the heads they are in good shape I will although finde a set of these and try it on one port so I can see for my self seing that I got a mixed reactions on this post

I am not trying to cause controvoursy over this so thanks for the post all imput will be greatfull thanks again

The undercut 1.94 is the way to go. Try using .214 valve stems. Things really take off then!!! Don't need 2.02's in these.
