is it worth doing it on a 9to1 comp motor? and if so whats the best way to do it thanks Lubeguy

the only reason to index the spark plugs is to get the electrode out of the way of a dome. It doesn't increase HP numbers, or improve combustion either. But if you really want to index them you cam buy a moroso spark plug indexing kit that has different thickness washers that allow the electrode to be clocked in different positions. Ideally you want the electrode to be inbetween the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions.

Also, do not use a black marker to mark on the plug because the black ink has carbon in it and you will lose the spark. If I remember right Bill Hendren posted on another forum that he has seen a 30 hp decrease on a engine from having a black marker mark on the ceramic.
