We have a plastic 8 gallon fuel cell with 2 outlets on the bottom sump. The fittings are aluminum AN fittings with plastic sealing washers. One fitting is leaking. I have tried doubling the washers, changing washers, rubber o-ring, and teflon tape on the threads. Still leaks. Will leak about 1/2 gallon a night. Have any of you had a similar problem? Will something like JB work against gasoline? Thanks RacerRita

I believe teflon tape is compatible with methanol. It is an inert item and doesn't breakdown like other sealants.
