I run a Perma-cool in front of the rad. No problems.

setrab is the best your money can buy, its what the cup teams use. The best place is to drill 2" holes in your deck above the tranny and mount it to the deck and build a small scoop to channel air flow down through it. This helps keep some weight in the middle of the car and not upfront.
