that's what you get for running that high dollar NASCAR stuff, lol. you probably have a 5/16's or 7 mm stemmed valve...

These measure .320 and my others measure .330,i've never ran into this before.Nascar stuff?not unless they use 1.94 valves! They came in a set of 882 heads i'm running,i don't think they are titanium or stainless, but they're nice looking heads i'm just not sure what they did when they replaced the valves and guides....thanks guys

.320 is 8 mm. since you need valves, i'd be inclined to go ahead and have the guides reamed out to a standard valve stem size.

that NASCAR "take off" stuff is cheap and easy to modify to fit different applications. i had a set of 16 titanium valves cut down to fit my heads for a grand total of $100 counting the cost of the valves. you have to use lash caps on them though as the hardened tip is machined off.

Well that is certainly strange!!An 11/32 steel valve will generally measure between .341" and .343", depending on brand. The .320" and .330" measurement that you have is not 5/16" or 8mm. Sounds like some real odd-ball valves. I have no clue as to why these valve sizes would be used. Sorry I can't help on this one.

They may be a .015" oversize 5/16" valve, that would make it .3275", but I have only seen the 11/32" and 3/8" stem size used in those type of heads.
