Hi, I have no specs for my rings. I was wandering if 21 on top and 18 on 2nd is Ok for my Speedpro flattops in my 406. Thanks! Race

Multiply your bore diameter by .0053" for your top ring, and multiply your bore diameter by .0058" for your second ring. This will give you your proper ring end gap for a forged piston in a circle track application. In other word's, you will want the top ring gap to be .022" and the second ring gap to be .024" in a 4.155" bore with a forged piston. Always be sure to have the second ring gapped more than the top ring!! It keep's the top ring from getting unloaded by trapped gasses, and it's worth a little power too ))
