I have a ported and polished HV1000. Wanted to know which intake is better? Super victor jr or the one I have. I have 235cc proaction heads. I also have a cam question?whAt would be a good cam in my 410 stroker all steel engine on 3/8 mile high banked track runing at 7500 to 7800 rpm.

Is that a High Velocity Heads (HVH) intake?
If it is, I'd bet it's a lot better than a stock Victor Jr.

Thanks Dixon. Any thoughts on a cam? I have one that has a duration of .050 with intake at .264 ext. at .270 with a lobe seperation of 107. With gross valve lift int. .646 ext. .676 and a lobe lift int. .431 ext. .423. I'm not sure if the would be a good cam on gas? What do you think? Thanks, Jim02

Sounds in the ballpark to me...but I wouldn't consider myself a cam expert. My advise is to ask Steve Hendren (you can find his posts all over this site). He'll steer you straight.
