true roller. a double roller is not really a "roller" at all. they should be called a "double row" chain. i don't know why people call them double roller...

a cloyes true roller is a good one. i'm running a doug yates true roller with billet gears and balanced top gear on my ford. it's a nice piece. there is another brand made in australia that is very nice as well. i can't remember the name.

if you want to run a gear drive, make sure it is a "fixed idler" type, not a pete jackson or ebay cheapie. summit sells a fixed idler gear drive that is a re-boxed erson for about $200. if you have the big bucks.....summers brothers or shaver/wesmar.

This is a silly question, but does IMCA allow gear drives? i havent gotten my rule book.
