I see the casting number (3932442)for the 267, 305 & 350 are the same. What are the differences between the cranks in each of these engines? Can you put one from a 267 into a 350? I read that you should put one from a 267 into a 305. Why is this?
Thanks for any help

The 305 and 267 have larger (deeper) lightening holes in the counter weights. The pistons in the 305 and 267 engines, are smaller and lighter. If you look at them side by side, the 305 holes are drilled farther into the counter weight then a 350. If you use 305-267 crank, with really light pistons, and have it all balanced, it works.
