Do you have to enlarge the pushrod ports if you are going to 1.6 rockers... I will be using these on a .444 lift cam...

I havent done the math but Im thinking that will put you in the 470 to 480 lift range and shouldnt cause you any problems...good luck......Towman

Towman is right I run a higher lift cam than that and didn't have to do any thing good luck

I would check it before you run it. The 1.6 rocker moves the pushrod seat closer to the stud in order to change the ratio. This also moves the pushrod location through the hole in the head. Even though its not much its worth checking just to make sure. I doubt if the lift will cause problems, its the slight change in geometry that might.

If you have any questions when you get the valves lashed roll the engine over while you watch pushrod movement if you have problems with no more lift than you have it will be the first one Ive seen your pushrod angle does change slightly but Ive ran 560 liftwith no problems but keep in mind production heads are known to be different from one set to another.....Towman
