I've been thinking of trying a set of copper head gaskets this season and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on using them.
Thanks for any help.

we run them on our late model engine. they're from SCE (i think), very nice.
i would fit the gasket to the block and then screw the head studs in (if your using studs) rather than fitting all the studs and then trying to slide the gasket down over them.
follow the manufacturers instructions and they will work well.
don't forget to anneal the gasket first (in the oven or similar) and re-anneal if you pull the head off later on.
we used the spray-on copper gasket to help the seal as well.
SCE make some nice intake and exhaust gaskets too, but i have not tried them.
