Was starting to put my motor back together and noticed the back of my cam(where it rides on the back cam bearing) was worn down enough to catch a fingernail on. I've had new cam bearings installed. What do ya'll recommend on this. This is a roller cam, and don't have the money to just go out and buy another. Thanks for the help.

You can have them repaired at crank shops - they can weld 'em and then turn & polish the journal.

If you "have" to use it with little $$ then polish the journal to make sure it's as smooth as you can get it. Use a really fine sandpaper and oil to polish and only go radially around the journal - try not to remove material as it'll reduce the size and the bearing clearance will be too great and will hemmorage oil.
