Anyone out there run a 9 to 1 engine with a stock 4412 holley 2 barrel in a 2500 lb. dirt race car?I know I can call the cam company's but lookin for someone that has run this setup and had experience with this combination.Lookin for all the info I can get before I buy a cam. Also what rpm limits will this combination be limited to?Leaning towards a hydraulic grind any IDEAS?

we run the same rules in our limited mod class alot of guys are haveing good luck with midwest motorsports #8 cam run it around 7000. but it's a solid lift. if you have the option i would run a solid they are a much more consistent cam yes they are more detailed to set lash but you get better performance

If you have a choice run a solid there is a little more maintenance lashing valves but once you get used to it its not a problem ....and if you turn very many rpm I like to look over the valve train pretty regular anyway.....Towman
