Have you seen the new 18736542 firing order cams from Comp Cams for Small Chevy what do you think and wold they be a good idea for a 9/1 motor with stock two barrel intake and stock exhaust 500 cfm rochester hei ignition and 487 or 441 cast# heads

the following cam specs are as follows
advertised in./278 ex./284
duration @.050" in./248 ex./250
valve lift w/1.5 rocker in./531 ex./525
lobe sep. angle 106

had a friend build his motors this year with a cam similar to that in it... ran real well, got claimed and the other person couldn't get it to run hehehe

has anybody ran this cam yet with my engine combo iam really wondering about this
Iam thinking that this am would also be a killer for the people that claim alot

FWIW, IMCA outlawed changing the firing order for 2004. Probably for that exact reason.
