Anybody have experience with Ferra head gaskets? I've been searching around and found they've got one with a 4.065 bore and .035 thick. That'd work perfect on my 4.040 motor with it's pistons .003 out of the hole...

Can't tell if it's a composition gasket or a steel shim. I'd think at .035 it's composition....

Yes we have used them on all of our steel head small bore engines for about 6 years now. I've got no complaint's!!

I have used sce copper reuseable head gaskets from summit. I had 3 motors built at once and got a little carried away with trying to zero deck them.

Ive got these so I know they exhist, .031,.043,.050,.069,.090 some may have been special order I dont remember anymore.

they are 69 for standard stocking and 10 more for special.

competition products also has them.

Thanks Steve, I've got a pair of G50021's on order now. I've never used anything but Fel-pro's, so I was a little hesitant...

Just a standard re-torque after initial warmup?
