Somebody refresh my memory. If I use a 400 connecting rod in a 383 motor, I can use a regular old off-the-shelf 350 piston, right?

Reason I ask is that there's bigger domes in the 350 piston line, than the 383 line. Thinking about putting one together with a pair of open-chamber heads and want all the compression I can find.

some 350 'shelf' type pistons will also hit the bottom of the wrist pin boss on the crank counter weight when the engine is at BDC when using the shorter rods.
