I bought a motor last year and ran it. I pulled the heads off to start buying stuff to freshin it up and there isn't any numbers on the top of the pistons? Has anyone ever ran in to this before?

I think trw is the only one with piston numbers on the top.

kb has the number on them by the pin on the side.

I dont think anyone else has the part number on them, just the slug or raw piston #.

Jeff is correct . Most of the major race piston manufacturers do not put part numbers on the top of their piston , or anywhere else for that matter .
