I got this the other day,
looks pretty good, has the coil and module
inside the dist, just one wire for ignition and one for tach. Anyone else using this?
It looks almost the same as a Performance Distributors DUI.

Any info would be appreciated!!
Thanks!

i use the factory ford duraspark distributor for a trigger and an msd 6AL box for fire. some of fords factory stuff is tough to beat.

Yeah I can't use any msd stuff.
This looks pretty good though, basically a 1 wire deal and should be good for my 6000rpm anyway

we'll see what happens.

if ford5 is runnin' it in his mod without any problems, you'll be fine. i'm sure he's twistin' tighter than 6000.

i've used the factory duraspark stuff with the blue grommeted module well past 7000 without any problems.......ford did their homework on ignition systems.

the worst thing that could happen with it is........you would have to upgrade the module and\or coil

i have around 14.5 to 1 with a flat tappet and i believe i would have rather had 13 to 1 and a roller. the only problem i see is that either way if you are building a "good" motor you will still have to spend around 800.00 for a set of weiscos and i think that the flat tops are real close in price to the "pop ups" i would try and figure a way to do both good pistons and a roller.
