Is it hard to change your own cam bearings, or should I just take it to the shop and pay them to do it? If I can do it, any good ideas on how to go about doing it?

If you don't have the correct cam bearing driver, then your best bet is to take it to the machine shop.If not done right you can ruin a good motor.

That's what I'm going to do. Someone told me of a good shop that is real reasonable. $20.00 to pop out the old and put in the new while you wait.
