My Bell housing on my car doesn't seal up tight, and after the dirt and rocks flying around this week. I was wondering about cleaning it out.
Would you just use a hose and spray up in there?
Could you spray brake cleaner up there?
Spray air to dry it up good afterward?

It's a Muncie 3 speed with a Tilton thriple disk. I don't want to wreck anything by being dumb.

i don't think water would hurt it. when it rains water will get into that area, and that doesn't seem to hurt things.

next time you pull the bell hosuing, cut a small access hole on the bottom of the bell housing, that way it's easier to get rid of the rocks.
