any information on what i can do to make it run better i ve heard that it has the same size bore as a small blcok chevy. any one know if thats true any help appreciated

i ran one in a sunbird-the fwd and the rwd motors are about the same thing-get steel timing gears.the fiber gears won't hold up inracing conditions the fwd drive came with roller cams,so if you have to run stock lifters your in good shape.the cracks are pretty well balanced from the factory. the pistons and the lifters from a 350 will work(don't know about roller lifters though) hope this helps

i ran a 2.5 last year in a grand am and bored it out .060 ond put 60 over keith black aluminum dome 350 pistons on the stock rods and left everything else stock and won 11 races in one year with it. you can also get some hefty cams for them and it'll really scream. any questions let me know
