I just put in a new 327 in my bomber car, the motor will start and run fine. When you put in gear, it has no power. I have adjusted the timing and the carb ,no better. it will diesle if you push the peddle down further.
could it be the timing chain not lined up properly, I havent ran up on this problem before. The motor almost seems to be working to hard. 327 block, 305 heads, flat tops,375 hp cam, new quadrajet carb. COULD someone help
THANKS

Pull the front cover and double check the timing marks. If your running the three way crank gear make sure you are using the correct mark.It should be the one with an o.I've seen this problem more than once.
