Im running a purestock car with a 350 sbc. it has a 2 barrel rochester carb rebuilt a few races ago with a fairly new fuel pump. if i let the car sit for a couple of days (2-3) or more when i go to start it theres no fuel. even if i pump it or hold it to the floor i get no fuel. i always have to put gas in the carb to start then it will be fine for two or three days till it happens again..What could my problem be? Thanks Alot

If I was guessing I would say your fuel pump. that is how my truck is but after I crank it a few times it pumps it back up. Hope this helps BObby

on the carb filter there is a small check valve, usually black. if it isn't there, the fuel will siphon back and cause the problem you're having
