I have everything wired up to ford silinoid but I am confused has to where to hook alternator up to. IT has to wire coming from it one goes to nut on back of alternator and one goes to a plug on alternator. I think the one going to the nut on back should be hot al the time right, but what about the other one thanks

take it to a alternator shop and have them convert it to a 1 wire job then all you have to do is hook the wire up on the back run it down to the same side of your fors sil as your pos battery cable

I have just hooked the wire together and ran to the hot side of silonoid, you can remove the postive battery cable and its till runs so I assume it will work, Ithink thats how it was on old car i had

what we did was loop the biger wire on the plug to the nut and from the nut to the solinoid.then the little wire on the plug went to a toggle switch so you can shut off the alt if you want.that way under coution you can turn it on freshen up the battery then shut it off under green.hope this helps
