go to 442.com they have info there under the FAQ section. i think its on the side of the head. not under the valve covers?

We run an olds rocket 350 and never heard of diffrent heads.Try this cool web site www.realoldspower.com report back to us what you learn please,like to what heads we are running too

5A and 7A heads are 307 heads. Not very good unless you have a 307 in which case choose the 5A. 5,6,7, and 7a heads are the best 350 heads. withe the 7a have hard exhaust seats. 403 heads are all 4A which are really bad. Swap this for some of the 350 heads listed and you will have better flow and raise the compression one full point. You do have to drill the head bolt holes to accomidate this swap. These numbers are cast just above the front or rear exhaust port on the head.
