Check your float setting. Regardless of fuel pressure you could be running float bowl out of gas if the float doesn't allow enough fuel in to compensate for what you are burning. Carb jetting could also be a problem. Read the plugs and see if they show you a lean condition. Valve spring float could also be a factor at the high rpm. What lift cam and what type or seat pressure springs are you running? I've also seen an ignition switch cause that by not supplying enough power to the distributor. Check to make sure you are getting 12 or more volts to the distributor when you switch power to it. I've also seen what Avenger mentioned with a bad ground. Hope this helps.
