I've been toying with running a step colder plug in my center cylinders on a small block chevy. My theory is that it will help out with the longevity of my center pistons and valves which seem to be showing a little evidence of extra heat. NO, they are not running lean!!!!This thing seems to be running better than ever when warmed up...
has anybody else tried this? What were your results?

never heard of that before but have heard of cams that change the firing order to help spread the heat out better
