Never bought one of their motors but we have run something very similar to their open show motor and their stage 3 and have turned up to 7400. Prob could go more with the open show.

If i was guessing i would say they are the same for all intents and purposes. It sounds like there were a few guys at Midwest that wanted to open there own shop and somehow worked out a deal with JR to share a building. Prob one of those tax break deals somewhere in there for both of them... who knows. I wouldnt be surprised if this PTM also does work for JR either machine work or full assemblies along with JR's own shop. I would not be scared to use them. They have the experience and top notch equipment to do their work.

I am sure the JR open show motor would work well for your situation. But if you want a custom built piece give PTM a call. I am sure they would also build to your specs as well.

Ok next question for you fine folks, should i go with a roller motor or not? Any body have pros and cons about reliability? Will a flat tappet make as much power as a roller?
