if you move your up will it make you run hotter than moving it down. what range is good to run. i'm on 36 now. an i'm running a little hot.

Dusty if your running a locked out dist from 34-38 is best.On hot humid days 34 is the best and on cool nights 38 is the best by my experience.I have seen 2 degrees add as much as 30 degrees so if its hot where you are you may drop to 34.I mostly run 34 year round down here in the south louisiana.

In theory less timing will burn more mixture out into the exhaust than inside the engine thus lowering the engine temp and raising the exhaust temp BUT i've seen motors get hotter with less too so go figure.

Steve,what track do you run at.I ran westbankspeedway for 4 years (sure you heard about that track).Im building a new car to run St.Tammany Speedway in Hickory La.
