i was told to use oil restrictors with a solid lift cam. i have stock oil pump in a 355 with stock compression. what do ya'll think.

Yes you need the oil restrictors. The solid lifters doesn't need that much oil. The restrictors force more oil through the lower end. I suggest putting them in. I have ran them for year and haven't had any problems.

do NOT run oil restrictors if you have stamped rocker arms. you'll be sorry. only run them in a solid cam/roller rocker setup.

Fulcrums and restrictors don't work to well together.I found out the $$$ way.

I run restrictors with stamped rockers and have had no problems.
