Second week out, I wrecked my heads.
Been looking around, and my question is, I had a set of 461's with 2.02 in them, how much would I loose if I went with a JR Motorsports 441 with the 2.02 valves?
I know i'm loosing compression, but how much would if affect me, besides being able to run a cheaper gas.

I have Two engines ,one is a 355 with 411 heads and the other is a 355 with 461 heads 2.02.
And i swap between the two depending on the claim factor (risk).
The 461's are ported and polished as well as the 411's.
Conclusion is when i run the 411's i miss the 461's except on a dry slick track and when i fill up i miss my 411's because it runs on pump gas and my 461's run on elf 104 octane ($650 Canadian a barrel).

I looked up the pistons and
with the 461's at 62cc chamber I had a 12.8:1 motor
With the 441 at 76cc chamber's I will have a 10.9:1 Motor.

I'm running a dry fast 1/2 mile with a 406 chevy.

An angle mill and pocket port would really improve the 441's. They are less shrouded than the 461's without any modifications.
